Data Encapsulation

Efficient communication is achieved through a lean and flexible data encapsulation structure. DaaS-IoT uses variable-size headers (up to 32 bytes), minimizing protocol overhead while maintaining flexibility. Application data is encapsulated as a DaaS Data Object (DDO), which can carry either system-level information or user-defined payloads. For inter-node communication, the DaaS Message (DME) extends these objects into three types: transfer, control, and service messages. This design allows the protocol to operate effectively even with limited frame-size transports common in embedded or low-power IoT devices
